ORLANDO, Fla. (UCFAthletics.com) - As the Knights prepare to make a run at the NCAA Outdoor Championships, the UCF track and field team improved to No. 13 in the nation Tuesday, according to the USTFCCCA's National Team Computer Rankings. The Knights jumped one spot from last week's No. 14 standing and have now ranked among the country's best for 24-straight weeks dating to April 26, 2011.

UCF is the highest ranked member of Conference USA as Southern Miss checks in at No. 23. LSU leads the way followed by Kansas and Oregon as the nation's top three programs.

Last week, the Knights witnessed six student-athletes earn berths to the NCAA Championships, which will be held June 6-9 at Drake in Des Moines, Iowa. Below is a list of UCF's competitors and their events as the team looks to improve upon its eighth-place finish at the NCAA Indoor Championships in March, which marked the best finish in school history.
