The day got started with the 5000m run as four Knights embarked on the longest running event during the indoor season. Sophomore Penelope Sosa led the way as runner-up with a time of 18:03.37, marking the second time she’s competed in the indoor event.

The first personal best of the day came courtesy of Paige Jaszczak in third, running 18:03.64. Her twin sister, Riley, rounded out the UCF presence in the top five with a fourth-place finish and a time of 18:09.66.

In the mile, Kendall Hughes secured a 15th-place finish in her first appearance in the event at the collegiate level. Abby Clements also checked in at 32nd with a time of 5:14.78.

Saturday’s highlight came in the final event as a freshman trio, joined by Lillian Holtery, ran the program's fifth fastest DMR time with their 11:41.03 performance. The outing marks the third consecutive year the Knights have had a squad break into the top 10.
